X-Men- Days of Future Past

This post is about the latest X-Men movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past

I give this movie three out of five stars. I like this X-Men movie though it does have some ups and downs. For ups, the plot is a great idea! The Wolverine has to go back in time to change what happens in the future. But, the future [for me at least,] is a little too dark. Literally! The sky is always black and there is no color. But, in the past where the wolverine is, it is wonderfully colorful! Of course, it is in the early 1970s. But the plot had way too many "side plots." In other words, there were too many things going on in the movie at once. Also, everything happens pretty fast. The movie is long, [maybe even too long] but in each scene I feel like my eyes are going to pop out of my head because everything happen soooooooooooooo fast! That is why my favorite part of X-Men Days of Future Past is the Time in a Bottle scene. In this scene, you view the movie from Quick Silver's perspective, [Quick Silver is a young mutant with the power to move faster than the speed of sound] so everything has slowed down. Why I titled this scene the Time in a Bottle scene is because that is the song that is played in the scene. Quick Silver runs around the walls and puts the police men in the room into position in which they will punch themselves or another cop. Quick Silver also moves the bullets that are about to hit Magneto, Charles Xavier, Wolverine, and Beast so that they will shoot the wall and not his fellow mutants.
Stay posted,
Nina
