How to Cutify Torn Jeans

First, to preform this craft the tear in your jeans can't be too high. In my opinion about 10" down from your waist would be the minimum. Now you should cut evenly around the jeans in the middle of the tear. [Do this on both pant legs...] Next you should cut the same length of the tear that is still showing around both pant legs. [Or you could make the remaining tear longer so the other cuts will be longer too...] Now you need some differently colored thread and a needle. Now using a running stitch or what I call a loop de loop stitch sew over the thread that has already been sewn with the colored thread.[move needle in a circular fashion in a way that the circle the needle is rotating in intersects with the fabric.] Then you're done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
