Today in the after school and summer camp "Taproot" I found these two Morels!
Morels are an edible mushroom the grow in April and May. They are delicious cooked, but slightly bland raw. Here is a picture of were Morels grow. >>>>
As you can see from the picture to the right, Morel sightings are usually in the northeast, a little in the midwest, and a little in the south. Morels typically grow underneath and around dead trees. To be specific, Morels are found under & around dead elm trees though they can be found elsewhere also.
