Hi this post is a review of a book I read before going to Venice called "Daughter of Venice." I know, it's a very cheesy title and the cover is a little funny but once you start reading it you'll love it! [If you are a feminist…] But you'll probably only like it if you are a girl. The book is about Donata, a girl in Venice. She has eleven siblings and is very rich. All her life she has lived in her palazzo obeying the families rules but when she finds out her older sister will be the one to marry everything changes. Her families rules do not allow Donata to walk out of her house unless her family is going to church or taking a Gondola to a party. She is also not allowed to have tutoring lessons [learn anything] she can only learn to play the violin or sing and sew. Only now does Donata realize how unfair her life is. And she decides to change that. Read to find out more!Stay posted,
Nina
