Hi! I just finished this book and it was amazing! It is about a white girl in the 1950s who becomes friends with an African american girl. Marlee [the white girl] is very shy and she talks so little that some people think she is mute! This story is about the troubles Marlee faces with integration and racists. I loved this book so much! I think everyone would love to read it. Though girls may enjoy this book more than boys. Please read this book and comment on what you thought of it below!Stay posted,
