Happy New Years!

Hello. I'm sorry that I left you on a cliffhanger last time I wrote. The only reason is, you know, I didn't want to have a huge post. [like The G.C.L.AP. Detective Agency...] Well, anyway, I have more of The Life of Adeline Nelson to share so...read away!

The Life of Adeline Nelson continued
My great-grandfather is like me in many ways. One of which is that we both can tell the future. But my great-grandfather sees the future differently than I do. He sees the future in bits and pieces, kind of like a big puzzle. But I just see things. I see what will happen next. But the problem is that I can’t see anything else. I’m blind. And I am the only person in Time Town to ever be able to see the future clearly.
As I've said, Time Town is located above where the prime meridian and the equator meet. Time Town is located where it is so that the senders can easily spread time out to different countries. And no, you can’t see Time Town if you look up from where the prime meridian and the equator meet on earth.
If you are wondering how and why I know these things I will tell you. First of all, I am, as Mr. Anderson would say, destined for greatness. Secondly, and most importantly, I am only 11½ years old.
This means, to other people at least, I am just....A boring. Old. Useless. Child. Now, my great-grandfather; thinks much more than that of me. My great-grandfather thinks that I am an amazing hard working child that deserves a chance to be seen. And that is why he hired Mr. Anderson.
Mr. Anderson is a teacher. But he is not an ordinary teacher; Mr. Anderson is a teacher of things that not all people, [besides the Messengers] know. Mr. Anderson teaches me about the Messengers, who they are, and what they do…
But, Mr. Anderson does not like the E.L.M. E.L.M. stands for Executive Leader of the Messengers. And, the E.L.M. at the moment is Symphony. Symphony Rose Scott. Symphony, you might think is the first girl to be an E.L.M. but no, she is not.
Actually, all E.L.M. have to be girls. That is rule number 3,076.173 [Mr. Anderson made me memorize the book of rules I few weeks ago.

*****************
Yeah, I know this ends in a kind of boring way...sorry! I promise to write more and make it exciting!!! So...I also have THE  BEST BOOKS OF THE DAY. So...here it is...

THE  BEST BOOKS OF THE DAY
[For 9-12 year old's]

Number Three:  Savvy written by Ingrid Law.
This book is a great book to read when you're feeling down.
Savvy will get you excited!!! This is a truly good book.

Number Two: Among the Hidden series, written by Margaret Peterson Haddix.
Among the Hidden series has an amazing idea. A world where there is a population law. A world where you can only have two children. These books are about third children.

Number One: Crash written by Jerry Spinelli.
Okay. You might be wondering why there are two Number ones. This is why. Both Crash and the Mysterious Benedict Society are amazing books! Anyway, back to Crash. Crash is an amazing memoir with many hilarious moments. This book is great to read aloud. But trust me, it is funny.

Number One:The Mysterious Benedict Society  Series, written by Trenton Lee Stewart.
The Mysterious Benedict Society is an exciting series with amazing characters and an amazing plot. The Mysterious Benedict Society series is about four kids who are extremely intelligent. And these kids, Kate, Constance, Reynie, and Sticky have to save the world.

Stay Posted,
Nina
